Diamond clarity is affected by the number, size, color, relative location, orientation, and visibility of inclusions. The impurities and the blemishes act as a measure for the clarity of a diamond. A diamond which has no impurities or high grade of inclusions hence no obstruction for the passage of the light is considered to be flawless.
